About us
The Wellesley ABC program is part of the national organization of A Better Chance. The national organization began in 1963 and has been working continuously for over forty years to provide Services to academically talented students in underserved communities. The Wellesley chapter of A Better Chance began in 1972 by a group of Wellesley residents and continues as a volunteer-based organization that provides student scholars with the opportunity to attend Wellesley High School while living in Wellesley. By helping students who are highly motivated receive an excellent education, the Wellesley ABC program offers opportunities that might not have otherwise been possible.
